Pretty sure we have made our interest known to Leipzig for Keita. Hence them slapping a price on his potential transfer. Can see a fee of around 60 million being agreed including add ons.

Surely we can't agree a deal with the player without the price being agreed with the team?

I hope we got permision to talk to player lol.

If we did not, then we will get the book thrown at us by the FA and UEFA.

I don't see how we can agree terms with player if we still have not approached his club. Ed were are we at with this please? Ir is it still as it was.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained. Nothing changed overnight.}

His club have clearly been made aware of our interest. I suspect the rules regarding approach are slightly different in the UK to the rest of Europe. Either that or the rest of them are prepared to turn a blind eye. I read an article by a sports lawyer recently and he said that if all clubs in the UK stuck to the rules no one would ever be bough or sold.

{Ed002's Note - No, the rules are the same. Liverpool know that. Klopp certainl knows that and the club dealt with two letters of complaint last summer. You have to stop trying to justify this unacceptable behavior.}

Why is everyone having kittens about this. I'm pretty sure any negotiations that take place since the VVD saga will be handled correctly.

{Ed002's Note - Seemingly not.}

Ed do you sense some wrong doing again?

{Ed002's Note - Surely not.}

If anyone from the club has spoken to the player without knowing for certain they have permission to do so then I want heads to roll, that includes the manager.

After the total farce of the VVD saga I would consider it gross misconduct to have done exactly the same again.

I'm sick of us being seeing as dirty and under handed, the club used to be more than that.

Or maybe it's all bull and we haven't offered him anything yet.

Christ! If we have done it again then we deserve every punishment we get. Not acceptable.

I suspect we have permission to talk to the player while we sort the price with RBL. any declaration from them that no bids have been made etc will purely be to save face with fans etc. they won't want to been seen openly selling their best players.
I think too many people are being overly harsh and critical of LFC and Klopp since the VVD saga. which by the way I doubt is over. Southampton claimed that no players would be sold when they announced their new manager, yet a matter of days later Jay Rodriguez was sold to WBA. I know he's not quite as important to their plans as VVD but their statement implied they were a closed shop.
just my opinion on a couple of things folks. no doubt I be slaughtered haha.

{Ed002's Note - You are turning yourselves in to a joke yet again. They have been very clear and very honest and they have not given Liverpool permission to talk with a player they do not wish to sell. Liverpool may well make an offer and may well eventually agree the transfer they have deliberately unsettled (not illegal but morally abhorrent) and may well have spoken to (illegal). It is nothing to dop with Rodriguez nor your misinterpretation of a statement from another club.}

Is this common practice in a lot of clubs Ed? Is it a case of Liverpool not being very good at hiding their tracks? Its becoming very embarrassing to Sa the least 😒.

{Ed002's Note - Done to death.}
