Decker I would say your source is THE FIRM on Twitter as he posted the exact same rumours yesterday. Let it be known that they are a joke. Over a month ago he stated we had agreed a £48 mill 5 year contract for Keita. He's a chancer who talks utter bollocks.

Really hope we don't spend that much on Keita. We have some very good CMs and with the style that we play, I don't think it's necessarily important to have an 'enforcer' type player as we defend as a unit with multiple players closing down anyway.

Think it's foolish to spend that much on someone who isn't going to either score or assist a lot.

I'd actually rather we spent a little bit (20-25m) on The Ox who could cover a few positions and won't cost so much that he will have to be starter every game.

I cannot say its 100% accurate as my source is a german journo from a well known newspaper (he's pretty well connected) rather than my usual coaching staff sources but I too have heard there are discussions happening between RBL and LFC regarding Keita. Last time I had info from this journalist was way back when we were rumoured to be signing Honda and he told me Honda was off to Italy, he was right then.

Hey Decker. I'll let the doubt be in you favour. Keita would be decent, even though I think we are bloated in midfield already, unless Milner, Lucas or Grujic is to leave. And with Coutinho into center mid and Henderson the captain it would leave only one slot for either Keita, Can, Gini or Lallana. But we need the options for rotation depending the side we meet. I haven't seen much of Keita, but is'nt he a bit like Pogba? Robertson is a status quo for me. No up or downgrade. Just another young mediocre left back, in a place that should be the top priority. I just don't get it. We have a left back, which is keept out of the team because our senior right/ center mid is better defensiv than he, and still we can't seem to find ONE single full back, in the whole market of football, that is a better choice than Milly, that can be tempt to join us. Says a bit about the prestige of playing for Liverpool in this millinium. That is why we much go all out for a player like VVD and Mendy, who is supposingly willing to join us!

We need 2 players in every position. We have 2 in the holding role, 2 at the point if the diamond and Keita would be the b2b midfielder with Gini. Milner and Grujic for an injury crisis and lesser cup games. We wouldn't be overloaded with players. We would be just right.

don't get that comment of - we have very good cm players already so don't need another cm. The cms we have got us 4th position, if you want to finish higher, you need better players and a better squad.

Bryant. um have you ever watched Keita? I think you are talking about the wrong player. He would be our best cm by a mile and has potentially world class talent. Not to mention the fact that he is by no means an 'enforcer', but is incredibly creative and scores a lot of goals. he is a quicker and better version of gini and henderson put together.

I've doubted that this rumour is true but I must say it does look although it's on the cards. Hope there is still a place for can and Hendo but this is the type of player who goes a long way to winning the title. Excited.
