I'm sure liverpool value coutinho much higher than that.

If we are being quoted the likes of 70 Million for Keita and 25 Million for OX we should be looking for at least 100 Million plus for Coutinho.

Once you bid stupid money for player you suddenly get a reputation as a club who can't walk away from a deal. There is a finite amount of money to be spent and wasting 80m on a player that is not vital to the team is mad far better using some of that to buy VVD.

I guess the ox is coutinhos replacement or tadic.

We have no idea what represents good or bad value in this crazy market ATM. I wish people would stop slapping arbitrary figures on players.

I doubt we have put a price on Coutinho as we have no intention of selling him. Just more twitter rubbish. If such a thing did happen I suppose Naby Keita would be a decent replacement but there must be more than 20 mill difference in their value and frankly I do not see this happening.

{Ed002's Note - Keita would not be a Coutinho replacement.}

I would say Liverpool would be right to demand €100M for Couts in the current market. Of course we don't want to sell him, on his day he is unplayable and makes the hard things look simple. Liverpool should not be looking to sell our best players.

Baz.

I thought coutinho allready said that he just signed a long term contract and is not really interested in moving. I know that does not mean anything really in this day and age but still.

Also Liverpool should demand almost as much as United payed for Pogba. €80 mio for a regular first team player from a top4 Team in on of the best leagues in the World and the Brazilian national Team is a joke. The trasfer fee should be around €100-120 mio.

{Ed002's Note - It would be nothing to do with Pogba.}
