Napoli have bid a supposed 11m (pounds, euros not sure) for Alberto Moreno according to Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph.

The bid was rejected.

I was under the impression from what I read on here at the time we signed Moreno, that the Sevilla fans were happy to be rid of him as they saw him as a liability defensively?

I like Moreno a lot. Always smiling, always ready to give it his all. Even when he's barely playing he's still encouraging, all smiles, and when he comes on, plays his heart out. Really like the lad.

We should steer clear of spanish LBs in future. Problematic.

In the right system or league he'd flourish. I mean Klopp will encourage Salah were Chelsea (Mourinho) could not.

Spanish league would suit as Alaba would suffer in Prem for me.

Part of the reason for the rejection is that Napoli were not offering straight money. I don't expect they will return with another offer.
