Apparently Roma need to balance their books by the end of this month to satisfy FFP. We are waiting until then so that they have no choice but to sell him to us for 28M, way less than what they want. IF that is indeed true, coupling that with the alleged 'tapping up', that's really underhanded by Liverpool.

If the reports are correct in Italy, Roma only wants £7M more from Liverpool, which i don't think is that extortionate. If Roma then pushes the boundaries and say 'I want £15M more from you', then we can walk away for them messing us about. I'm my opinion I just don't think the extra £7M is worth waiting 2 weeks and (maybe) tapping the player up over. Just give Roma an acceptable bid to negotiate with, or walk away!
