Just saying mate. That is the reality. Soton have passed on a piece of paper to Liverpool to pay up x amount.

Cannot say I have been more excited about any other Liverpool window before as we are probably in for quite a few more surprises by the looks of things :-)

It's a lot of money, but the new tv deal is kicking in isn't it plus we're probably crossing everything that we get into the champs league proper. At least the owners are backing klopp with the players to do so rather than waiting to see and coming unstuck. I don't think anyone can blame fsg if we don't succeed, but I'm sure some will.

The fact that two other teams in the same league are willing to pay the same fee is an indicator we aren't getting extortioned.

Everyone a few months back was raving and begging for us to sign Virgil now we're linked people don't want the club to spend the money on him. People were calling FSG a week back for not bidding for players now saying we are spending too much. I for one hope he can have the impact Mane has done. Would be delighted to get Salah and two full backs and hold onto our big players.
