Just heard - Liverpool are plotting another Chelsea raid, with Nathan Ake being considered as a long-term solution to the left-back problem.

I'd doubt they'd let another highly regarded prospect go to a competitor, but from what I've seen of him, he'd be a great addition due to his versatility.

What's his preferred position? Is it DM, CB or FB? Haven't seen enough of him to know.

He has the same agent as our Captain.

Although I can't see Chelsea wanting to sell as he looks like he will be a very good player for them.

If we are looking to "raid" Chelsea for a young fullback it's more likely to be Ola Aina as Ed002 has previously said we may be interested.

But he is a RB and would likely want some guarantees on playing time that we would be unlikely (and foolish) to give him.

I love Ake and would be chuffed if we get him but there is no way on God's green earth that they will sell to us.
