Were is everyonr getting this from Ed do you know?

{Ed025's Note - yes mate its all over the internet, the thing is though that unless they get a pre-contract agreement then other teams could come in with a better offer and there is still nearly a month to go before the window opens..

Is that what we are trying to sort now then mate a pre contract agreement?

{Ed025's Note - it sounds like its heading that way KR, but i cant say for certain mate..

Is there any known interest in Salah from anywhere else? Cheers Ed.

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, but we are in pole position, he feels he has something to prove in England.}

Ed1 Who would you have preferred out of the wide players we are supposedly interested in?

{Ed001's Note - well I would have preferred Klopp to get his first choice, as he has shown good judgement so far. I haven't really seen anyone that stood out, that wasn't 29+ this season other than Salah. So I would not complain at him, even if I am not yet fully convinced by him.}

Ed are you saying salah wasn't klopps first choice winger? If not do you know who was? Thanks mate, sorry to bug ya. Either way I think it will be a good positive signing.

{Ed001's Note - Brandt, as has been said many times. No idea if he would have been better, but Klopp has shown better judgement than I so far, so I would prefer him to get the ones he wants. Not always possible though, so we have to go with what is possible.}

Mane wasn't first choice though was he ed?

{Ed001's Note - I am just saying that it would be nice to get the first choice ones, not that it always matters.}

Oh yeah, brandt. Any idea why that hasn't happened? Forgot about that. I been looking here at your opinions rather than the papers. Papers just fuelled by greedy agents whereas you've shown real insight. Appreciate it. Can I just ask. Is klopp seriously looking for CM? I feel that's one area we are well covered for. Always good to add depth though. No chance of signing brandt too?

{Ed001's Note - thank you, but Brandt is off due to his desire to have guaranteed first team football.}

Jonny do you really read the page because you have asked the same questions asked all week. 🤣🤣.

Sorry I wasn't very clear there. Are we seriously looking to land a top central midfielder? As I said, we seem well covered in that position. When I say top I'm talking Hendo level or above. I guess with lucus leaving we could add someone but 50 mil reports for kieta have worried me a little. Like someone said here earlier. Lb and lw and that'll do. We already have a damn fine team.

{Ed001's Note - sorry I missed the question about the CM. Yes we are interested in a central midfielder to improve the team. Keita was the choice, not sure who is next on the list right now. I would think it will be something the club will come back to when other positions are sorted, if possible.}

Yeah of course I read the page. Granted I only found it a few days ago. Sorry for asking questions that you've already answered. Obviously I didn't see that or I wouldn't have asked.

Good to see Ed25 being so active here but I just love Ed001. Cool. And wish we sign a decent LB as well as CB and a RB as though I like clyne but his end product is rather disappointing. Again thanks all the Ed's.

Hi Eds, you mentioned that Brant wants to have guaranteed first team action. Is this a normal thing to ask for? I mean, how can a manager guarantee a starting spot when a lot depends on how he performs and adapts to the prem league? What motivation will players get in training, if they know they will be picked even if they are lazy or not up to scratch? If you say he wants to add a performance based bonus, that would make more sense. On one hand, it is good that he's showing that he wants to play week in week out, but on the other hand, its a bit disrespectful to be demanding a spot in the starting line up when everyone else has to fight for their spot in training. If he's good enough, he'll be picked anyways.

{Ed002's Note - It happens regularly and obviously if the player is performing poorly he won't expect to be picked. You seem to have taken this to an extreme position.}

And one more thing Ed001 I believe klopp will look to Dahoud from gladbach, Anderson from lazio and Christopher Kramer of gladbach though he is cdm but he is quite similar in technique but not upto level of modric. He is young and can improve just the kloppo way.

How is it disrespectful? he's a young player that wants to play so he can develop his game. If he can't move to a team where he plays regularly he'll stay put. This isn't some ready made superstar with an ego demanding he starts every game. very different scenarios.

Dahoud is already off to Dortmund, got agreed months ago.
