Problem is that we messed Salah and his agent around the last time we wanted to sign him so mess it up again should the bid be true then we will be the number one laughing stock of the transfer market.

Still not excited about him joining but have to trust Klopp if he is keen on the player.

I think Salah will be a very good signing. Has pace, scores goals (conversion rate a bit sketchy though) and not afraid to run at defenders. His best years are still ahead of him and 30 million is a snipe in today's market. The club should just pay up and get it done with. If Roma have given us a price then we need to match it or at least come close to what they want. Losing out on the same player twice because of low balling will just hurt the club's reputation and make LFC look like fools. If the manager wants Salah, just pay up. Now owner has the right to expect success unless he gives his employees all the necessary tools to work with. FSG should take heed.

could be great. needs to be physically stronger and work in tighter areas but could be what we need in terms of helping to break down deep defending teams.

That was Rodgers' fault. The transfer committee wanted him, but Rodgers didn't and stuffed the deal up.

The face of Liverpool's operations is quite different now to what it was when they almost signed Salah in 2014. There is a new CEO, there is a new sporting director that has taken over Ayre's job in recruitment, and there is a new manager.

When we signed mane and wijnaldum last year I was guttered so I ate some humble pie and now I'll let klopp do his buissness without being a keyboard warrior, although I might pipe up if we sign Robertson.

Someone else pointed out, his goals and assists are better than Dybala, so how is he anything else but a quality player? Him and Mane on the wings is a nightmare for defenders!

De bruyne didn't really excel at Chelsea either. Went abroad and came back a world class player.
