Origi has 9 goals in 14 games.

I applaud your enthusiasm but he's scored 9 in 35 games. Those goals do add up to 1 every 167 minutes which is a decent return.

I believe Origi is our only player this season to have scored in all 3 competitions. He is also our third highest scorer in all competitions (Mane 13, Firmino 10, Origi 9).

However he actually as 9 goals in 35 appearances. The catch is that he has only played roughly 1500 minutes which means his goals/ minutes ratio is pretty impressive.

He starts for me in Mane's absence. No debate in my mind.

Origi for me has to start up front. I would play Coutinho and Firmino in free attacking rolls behind him. Let the fullbacks provide any width and play a central three of Can, Wijnaldum and Grujic but with Can free to push forward.

Our full backs don't provide any width Poolie.

Just saw natural poolie mention grujic, any of the eds know if he is in klopps future plans or will he be looking to leave in summer.

{Ed001's Note - he is expected to stay for next season, though injuries have meant it is not certain.}

Would prefer Lucas/ Henderson than Grujic, just while there is some pressure to get that Top 4.
Also, should be Wijnaldum that pushes on.
