Barcelona are talking to Coutinho's agent over a potential move in the summer.

This move is just a matter of time. I think it would take 60 million. It may depend on champions league football whether it's this summer or the summer after, i hope he stays another season, has a belter and sticks 20 million on his price tag then we get max Meyer as a replacement. Or neymar wants to play with coutinho that badly he joins the pool. He does on FIFA.

I noticed that the big contract renewal that couts signed doesn't kick in till the 1st of July so if he were to go to Barcelona we wouldn't be paying the muted 200k a week for very long. I only mention it because we did something very similar with Suarez just before we moved him on, preparing to get as much money as possible?

Selling Coutinho for 60m when u see what is paid for other players the last couple years would be a disgrace. If Martial is worth 80m euro, or higuain at 29 is worth 90m euro, we should be looking at 3 digits to even consider it. doesn't help with money if u can't replace the player with similar quality.

Coutinho spotted speaking to Suarez and Neymar. Coutinho linked with Barcelona. who was the genius that wrote that one up. Everyone knows of previous interest from Barcelona. Whether they follow up on it or not given his recent form is another story.

If we can get around 60 million for Coutinho, then the club could replace him with 2 quality players in Brandt and Dembele without spending any extra cash. That will do for me. Enough money would thus be available to sign 2 fullbacks and a CB.

If LFC get 60m for him then every possible replacement will suddenly cost 60m as well same as the Andy Carroll situation. Replcement would need to be done before Coutinho deal confirmed.

I really hope it is not James Rodriguez who replaces Couts. Not suited to the pace of the BPL and plays in a position that is non existent in Klopp's current system. Utter waste of money if that happens.

I see a lot of these rumours today about Ivan Rakitic plus some money to Liverpool for Coutinho. To be honest, I don't recall many player plus money, for player trades, but we always see a lot of these rumours around the transfer windows. Do this stuff ever happen?

Rakitic turned 29 recently, I'd be suprised if we entertained Barcelona trying to offset coutinhos price with him. I'm sure there are a few players we might like though perhaps rafinha?
