Hi eds, Just wondering if we had any interest in the young monaco forward mbappe. Also wanted to know what has happened to mark gruic? has he suffered with injury this season, i exepected him to play with the first team or at least be in cup games. He looked good in pre season. Thanks in adavance.

Hi Ed1,

Would the work permit people take that into light when renewing his work permit? (Not sure if it's done yearly in the UK, but it is in the Isle of Man where I am) .

Obviously the game time that was promised as a condition hasn't been met but it'd be interesting to know whether they take in circumstances or just minutes played etc.

{Ed001's Note - injury is accounted for, yes. They only expect a player to play a percentage of games they are available to play. I don't believe it is a yearly renewal in the UK, though Ed002 would be a better person to ask on that front, as I have to admit I am completely unsure on that.}

It is such a crying shame, Grujic has been struggling with a hamstring injury for months, really holding back his first season of development. Supposedly he should be back in training in early March and I hope everything goes smoothly so he can get back on the pitch before the end of the season.

Mbappe will be the most in demand young player in Europe and will have his pick of the biggest clubs in the world. Real Madrid wanted him before and Zidane knows him well. Liverpool will need Champion's League football to even be in the conversation for the top players in the market. That's why the next 13 games are so crucial to the short-term future of our club and what Klopp is trying to build. If you want the best, top 4 is a must. Either that or chuck hundreds of millions of pounds at them. That seems to work for 'certain' clubs. ;)
