FIFA says that Matip's eligibility for LFC is being investigated by their disciplinary committee. No time frame given.

This is beyond joke now.

I don't get all this, if the lad doesn't want to play for them he doesn't want to play for them, players retire from international duty some of them well premature if you ask me to concentrate on their club careers so what's the difference? have they just "done their time" so allowed to say they don't want to play?
