I definitely think it has legs. Bcos Klopp for obvious reason is monitoring the Bundesliga very very closely.

Thanks Eds. Fingers crossed though. He seems to do well whenever he's given game time, doesn't have an affinity for odd smoking devices in dark corners or come to life in the wee small hours in clubs. He scores goals instead and works hard at it.

{Ed001's Note - Spurs are still the most likely team for him, if he ever returned to the Prem. They are the ones that have shown interest and tracked him for years. They are also the ones that need a striker.}

Each to their own but personally I don't want him, I don't think he could bring much to us, I think he'd be a flop at Liverpool and half of this rumour is probably just click bait.

Liverpool wouldn't be buying any striker unless Sturridge is sold.

Is Sardar Azmoun still our main target striker wise? Don't imagine we will buy one in Jan but perhaps summer?

{Ed002's Note - Azmoun remains of interest to Liverpool.}

Hernandez would be a useless signing, not cause he's bad but he plays very much like Sturridge but without Sturridges quality. After the first game fans would be blasting him for selfishness and not working hard enough just for doing his job.

The distinction between Hernandez and Sturridge is the word "plays. " One does and one doesn't because he spends most of his time on the treatment table. Perhaps not Sturbridge's fault but having a continually crocked striker doesn't win the premiership. I hope Danny Ings isn't going to end up the same. Firmino isn't a striker and apart from youngsters that leaves Origi who is still learning as well. We're not exactly blessed are we? Hernandez may not be everyone's choice but who else with a decent goal scoring record, with experience of the Premiership, a work ethic and who doesn't continually fall apart is available for the type of money that he would command?
