I would not read too much into it. Sakho injured his Achilles and has more resources available to him back home in Liverpool. We have three games and are playing all three within a week. If Sakho is going to be out a week with his injury no point in him staying in the States, when he can get home and get ready for the season. Must be a slow day for news with this dodgy journalism.

Lucas and Gomez are both still in the US despite having injuries which means they cannot play either. Both these 2 and Sakho are there for group bonding/ unity . So, most likely he did something wrong which was bad enough for the management to take action and send him home.

The Liverpool Echo is becoming a disgrace. In fact, it has been for years. It sees itself as more than a local paper, what with it's cheesy 'exclusives' and sensationalist headlines.

Makes me cringe and shudder it does, as does that little fabart, James Pearce.
