Reading in a few different places that we want to sign Wijnaldum from Newcastle for £20 million yet we would not pay i think £13 million for Zieninski. It really does not make sense to me.

Again, how hard is it to understand? We bid what we bid for zielinski because that's what we thought he was worth, we're not gunna bid more than our valuation for a player. If another player we are looking at, has a higher valuation then maybe we will be happy to bid more.

Well I don't think zielinski is worth the price udinese were asking for after we tapped him up and honestly, he's not good enough so you shouldn't really be upset about that. On the other hand, someone who I was impressed with at times in GW again does not cost £20m but these are all inflated prices. Really the problem here isn't the price tags it's the type of player we are going for. I understand klopp would prefer a more attacking central midfielder but is that what GW is? I thought he was more of a forward and if so where the hell would he fit into our squad and to replace whom. Surely that's the end of Milner, lallana and markovic. Not sure why we don't just keep markovic.

If GW is a more central midfielder, I would say, from watching him, he is not what we need right now as we are overstocked on this type of player. We need a more solid, tactically sound midfield so I think most of us where hoping for a defensive minded midfielder. I just don't understand this personally even though I think GW is a decent player.

Bcos Klopp now has Branaggan who can play deeplying playmake, similar to Zielinski but raw. So dats why not giving in to Udinese.

My previous point exactly. we did not increase our bid for Zielinski because we had a better target lined up. Wijnaldum is a top player and will improve the team.

Wijnaldum is certainly not a top midfielder, he's anything but. Did you see a procession of top clubs scrambling to sign him after relegation or when he was at PSV? No. And there's a reason for that. He's a very poor player with a shocking attitude.

A club that got relagated to the championship want him to leave, if he was any good at all, why would they do that?

It makes a change for us to be linked with a player AFTER Spurs have been linked. It's become something of a pattern that we are linked with players who then join Spurs. No thanks on this one though, he's not Liverpool quality and far from an improvement on that which we already have.

Power, if Winaldum is such a top player, why was he dropped for being lazy during a relegation scrap by Newcastle? Let that sink in for a moment. I suggest you read Ed01`s evaluation of him or better yet, watch the games yourself. He`s the same as Sissoko. Good on TV and stats. The fact is that he, like Sissoko, are poor, lazy players who have nothing to add to our team and aren`t better than those we already have at the club including the academy. Ed02 has already said the rumor is not true and that why would Klopp sign a player who possesses the very qualities or lack thereof, he hates in a player which is laziness, poor skill and very little consistency? It`s all paper talk and to me, agents are just trying to get interest for him as well as Sissoko as Newcastle desperately want rid.
