Benteke looks awesome on YouTube but doesn't fit our system. I can't say I know anything about Volland but someone who scores goals from out wide and has pace offers something this side currently lacks. I'd be happy to trust this one to Klopp given he'd presumably be fairly familiar with how he plays.

Youtube can show you flashy bits of skill and nice goals.
It doesn't show you work rate, positioning, attitude etc.

Dirk kuyt would look average on youtube but turned out to be one of my favourite players.

Sorry HeavyMetal but I'm not having that. That is bang out of order. Kuyt is one of the best players we've had at the club in the last 25 years. Massively under rated technically, chipped in with a lot of goals considering he was played wide right, set up a lot more goals than he's ever credited for, worked harder than anyone we've ever had at the club and was never any trouble on or off the pitch.

Barcelona have shown an interest in him as recently as this season despite the fact he is now 35. So offence well and truly intended, you couldn't recognise a good player to save yourself. I'm not going to sit here and let one of our best servants in recent history get called bang average. The only thing bang average about Kuyt was the majority of the fans he had to put up with just because he didn't skip around doing step overs or score belters from 30 yards.

And he was a winger from the second season onwards

he has had one season since the turn of the millenium where he has failed to score more than 10 goals, and has scored more than 20 in 5 seasons (including this season) . Can't score to save himself - ridiculous post demonstrating an all encompassing ignorance of the subject.
