Is this a clue that we are going to get taken over

Emphatic derby victory! Clean sheet, 4 goals, dominant. @LFC has been an exciting club.

Nah she's already clarified that she just meant we've been exciting recently owing to our run of just 1 loss in 15 games.

They have been great owners but they only seem to care about finical gain which is a sorry state the sport is in as its no longer about passion but who buys the biggest names.

At least one of the rumoured owners actually cares for the club and hopefully we will be able to shed some debt front the club.

Adamski they are great owners- they love sport and they want to win, to the extent that they have spent far more than was strictly prudent to try and get that success.
They chose the wrong man in rodgers, and they make naive mistakes like allowing the transfer committee to caŕry on after its awful track record to date.
But they are great owners, and just like the fans, they crave success.
We should not be in such a rush to see the back of these people, nor be so ungracious and ungrateful about their tenure.
There are so many club owners who are so much much worse, and have dragged their clubs down the divisions, as ashley is doing to newcastle, and H+G almost did to lfc- we are lucky.

Why is thinking about the financial wellbeing of the club a bad thing? The league is a business enterprise that produces a sporting team. The club needs to generate more than 300m a year in revenues to survive. Even Man City is run as a business, but they just have more revenues and larger infrastructure but its still trying to breakeven or make a profit.

In our case I think the debt is from the owners so yes it is debt but we are not going to get in huge trouble over it yet. And by selling the club, the FSG will get that debt back and make some money from the equity of the club probably. Every deal/ agreement is different so unless someone has inside knowledge, we won't know.

Agree 100% anonymush, any club that has engaged, professional and financially supportive owners with ambition to win the league should consider themselves lucky. We may not have the moneybags of a Middle East owner or an Abramovich but I'd take FSG any day.

Look at some of the other owners in this league and what they've done to clubs like Aston Villa for example (not to mention our own G&H) .

Adamski, you clearly don't know a lot about the club and it's owners. Can't stand when people talk like this. Direspectful and factually incorrect. YNWA.

Zimbo, for sake of LFC i will take moneybag anyday. Y? Bcos i want to see LFC able to afford great players and retain them. Having a $ bag or sugar daddy merely allow Liverpool to compete in top 6 only, other objectives like winning league or cup will depend on squad and manager. Or do u really think players join us bcoa they love Liverpool and is a childhood fan?

FSG has spent more than enough to compete.

Showing the ambition and decisiveness to snag Klopp and bring him to Anfield should have ended any question or debate as to whether FSG want success here. This act, all by itself, is a resounding YES.
