Ed just a quick Q the boy
Yannick Bolasie @ Palace we ever had any interest in him he looks a player Klippety could nurture into something special.

{Ed001's Note - nope.}

Was saying for sometime this kid got something. There are few players liverpool should at least keep tab on - bolaise, ayoze perez, mahrez, shaqiri.

Just mahrez out of that lot. Yet i think his stock has risen that well that only a hand full of clubs could afford him now in my opinion.

MOTD fever I think, Bolaise is ok on his day but he as far too many off days, he also tries to beat the same man time and time again and many attacks break down because he doesn't release the ball.

Mighty reds in fairness we are starting to see a lot more consistency from the lad and if he keeps progressing the way he has over the course of this calender year I think he will be sold for massive money to a top side in the summer or next January.

{Ed001's Note - not sure he has shown any more consistency, other than that he overruns the ball consistently.}

Those MOTD comments on bolaise over done, he's been repeating those powerful runs down the flanks almost every match. So please shut it on MOTD.

{Ed001's Note - and losing it doing so. It IS MOTD fever, the guy only looks good in highlights, full matches and he is more of a hindrance than a help over the course of 90 minutes.}

With Liverpool fans, Bolasie is the new Diame. Plays well against us, everyone clamours for his signature, but in reality overall he's really not good enough. A decent player in his own right, yes, but not a player who'll help us achieve what we want to achieve.

I rather we go for a Mahrez or a Mane.

Ah ed he's certainly progressed at first he had no end product and only tricks which came off once every 4 or 5 weeks. his delivery this seen has been dramatically bettered and he is impacting games on a more regular basis.
Plus it's as much pardews do what you like attitude with him that sees him probably dribble and lose the ball so much. In a better team with good tactical coaching I still think he'll soon be in a top team. Don't think it will be or should be Liverpool mind you but that raw ability to beat a man the way he does is in my opinion a rare talent.

{Ed001's Note - sorry but it is simply not true. It is Pardew's tactics and team that have allowed him to have more impact, simply because of the space he is now getting. Springing from deep against an opponent that have been drawn in, his work should impact every attack.

He is simply not that good, unlike Mahrez or Mane, who are far higher quality mentally. He has pace, strength and the skill on the ball to beat players, but he has absolutely no clue how to use it.}

I'd move on Allen for Mane in a heartbeat. mane would be able to fit with the high press, fit in well with the creativity of Cout/Firmino/Llalana but also be able to creat width and dangerous positions for Benteke to capitalise on.

He's a few steps ahead of anyone else we have like him including Ibe/Markovic.

Heard it was his first assist since March. He doesn't score much either. So how effective is he? Those stats are worse than when downing played for us and he got destroyed for being an attacking player that didn't score or assist ( though his record before he joined us was pretty good on both fronts)

Allen for mane? They don't even play the same position.

Bolasie would be a disaster for us. The only reason he's good for palace is that he has so much space. Mane or mahrez are the best wingers in the pl imo.

I agree with the MOTD comments and I have commented on Bolasie in the past. I still think I am correct in what I said before - his shooting is not good enough.

Bolasie isn't not in the same class as Mahrez and Mane. He's not even good enuff to shine their boots, That's how poor he is. He's big, strong and fast. That's it. He has no skill, no game intelligence, no technical ability nor ability to time and check his runs. He seems to make it up as he goes along all the time, all things that will hinder him from getting to the next level. Don't hear Bayern nor Utd coming in for Bolasie like they are doing for Mane.
