Hi Eds, just reading ROMA have enquired about the availability of Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno, according to reports.Calcio Mercato suggesting Liverpool will request a fee in the region of £10million, however, a deal could be struck closer to the £8m mark. Have you heard anything or is this just more paper rubbish.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know anything about that, sorry.}

I think that Moreno will be the surprise exit.

Saying as we are trying to find a buyer for Enrique, i would be surprised if we were trying to sell on both of our proper senior left backs this window. Can and Gomez can "cover" but we tried to play last season with a player who wasnt a proper right back and it didn't work very well so i would be very surprised if tried the same again at left back. And i don't think the club would take a 4m loss (33% less than what we payed) on a player who turned 23 less than 2 weeks ago after having one average season in a new country and league. Give the guy a chance

It would be absolutely ridiculous if we sold moreno! Enrique is shot and no use. We have seen 2 games of Gomez in pre season against 2 very poor sides! Flanagan is injury prone and can't seem to keep fit enough to even watch MOTD never mind appear in it! Can is not a defender and has proved he can't defend last season! The only reason he was played in a back three was because he could play the ball! From what we have seen of Moreno he has been a great little buy but given few opportunities to strive! During the last third of the season he didn't get a sniff and understanderble because he was getting played out of position! Moreno will come good next season if played in a back 4!!
