Spurs rumoured to offer £12million for Danny Ings. Have you heard anything eds? Isn't he a free agent next month? What does this mean LFC have to do to get him? Bid more?

{Ed002's Note - It seems an unlikely scenario. Twitter or the conspiracy page?}

SSN reporting the name

{Ed002's Note - As of the end of this week Spurs can speak directly with the player and his representatives and agree any deal that suits both parties. Liverpool can do the same. Making an offer to Burnley will not make one iota of difference to what the player decides to do.}

I can't see why Spurs would offer Burnley 12 million for a player who is essentially free, bar compensation that is due. I would imagine Spurs would maybe offer him more in wages but a transfer fee seems strange to me.

sky saying their trying to get the player before anyone else can speak to him as his contract is up next month.

why would they pay £12 million now plus wages when they would only have to pay compensation and wages next week? I doubt the compensation would be £12 million. Sounds like putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 from the press.

just because ssn reported on it, doesn't mean its true. these reporters are in the pockets of the big media companys.they will come up with anything to sell a story. SSN sources as they put it, are twitter or so called people in the know.

They saying that because Spurs bid £12 million that the tribunal price could be as high as £8-10 million
