Im aware that De Bour is looking for a bigger field ro manage in. Is he aware of our interest in him? i'm thinking we couldt have spoken to him as he is with Ajax but has there actually been any advances towards him at this stage other than us just considering him?

{Ed001's Note - not since he rejected the chance to talk to us before we appointed Rodgers, but I am told that his recent comments about being ready and looking for a new challenge were actually in response to being sounded out about interest in the role. We have yet to make any contact with Ajax that I know of, nor any kind of meaningful contact, other than just a 'would you be interested if the job came up' way.}
