We have decided to change the Teams page to be the Liverpool Match Posts page, so look for posts talking about the latest Liverpool match there.

But most of the posts still go to the Liverpool Banter page.

Also more posts are being added to the Liverpool Other Posts and the More Liverpool Posts pages.

Hearing Gomez has travelled to the England camp with a slight Achilles issue, anyone else heard anything?!

Believable1 0Unbelievable

18 Nov 2018 14:40:37
Well he is a starter in their match vs Crotaia and so far he is hafing a decent first half. Maybe a false rumour you heard.

Eds, what do you make of these Fabinho to PSG/ AC/ Juventus that keep cropping up? Seems a bit odd after such a short spell but ties in with the talk about him being unhappy on Merseyside.

Believable0 5Unbelievable

{Ed001's Note - really does it? Or is it the same nonsense which he has publicly said is nonsense?}

17 Nov 2018 10:34:16
Exactly, nonsense. Mate they print/ type bullsh*t when there's bugger all else to talk about, why? Because too many people believe what the media say so they know they'll get the views lol its daft mate, pay no attention to that utter crap.

Liverpool and Barcelona at a standstill at the moment due to Liverpool wanting an option to buy after a 6 month loan, where Barcelona wish for a commitment to buy, asking price would be in the upper regions of 80m euros.

Believable3 12Unbelievable

17 Nov 2018 00:21:10
I really hope it's just a loan.

I trust Eds very much that we should stay away from him. However, I kinda excited whenever a club sign someone expensive and "glamour". I was one of the few who were kind of excited when we signed Balotelli :P.

Agree3 9Disagree

17 Nov 2018 08:12:33
Don’t believe this for one second and he won’t be joining in January. I do however believe Fabinho and his family are unhappy in Merseyside and the club are working hard to help them settle.

17 Nov 2018 08:12:46
For who Bobby? Ousmane?
I appreciate that you're bringing a raw rumour to the table and revel in it.

What's people's opinion of Callum Wilson I like him he grafts he is strong quick and can finish he could b a great squad addition.

Agree0 2Disagree

{Ed025's Note - good at the likes of bournemouth hailstones, but would just be another origi or ings at liverpool a flop..

17 Nov 2018 12:49:19
Feel like it's a bit harsh to talk about Ings as a flop when in reality we have no idea how it'd have worked out if he hadn't spent a millennia on treatment tables.

Agree0 1Disagree

{Ed025's Note - that was one of the reasons why he was a flop alvy...that and not being able to hit a bulls arse with a banjo of course mate.. :)

17 Nov 2018 15:29:41
Haha sound ed would u have him or cenk.

{Ed025's Note - two peas in a pod hailstones...mediocrity personified mate..

Fulham interested in signing Matip in January from what I've been reading.

Believable4 0Unbelievable

15 Nov 2018 10:41:53
I automatically thought of that post ed001 made recently when a team bought a player for meat.
Matip for a pack of bacon anyone?

Agree8 0Disagree

15 Nov 2018 12:58:49
Makes sense for Fulham. But I don't know if we will let him go. We don’t have Klavan anymore, and unless we bring someone in I don’t see us letting our fourth choice CB go.

Agree5 0Disagree

15 Nov 2018 13:44:42
Those were my thoughts exactly Klopping. I suppose it depends on how much we could sell him for, and if we could get in someone who was an upgrade and happy to be 4th choice CB for the same or less.

I don't know what his wages are, but I'd imagine them being higher than normal for his quality, considering we signed him on a free transfer.

Agree2 0Disagree

15 Nov 2018 13:54:03
27 Years old and for a Fulham team desperate for defenders could see us get a tidy sum for Matip. Would be interesting to see who we would get for 4th choice. Maybe Nat Phillips?

Agree9 0Disagree

15 Nov 2018 16:55:13
Swap for sessagnon and it's a deal.

Agree5 1Disagree

15 Nov 2018 18:41:34
Walkon, you don't run a car dealership anywhere do you? Cos I'd like to swap a 14 year old MG for a new Merc.

Joking aside, I don't want to be down on our own players, but it doesn't make much sense that Fulham would want Matip. They need a solid defender and leader at the back. Matip isn't really that player, he's arguably better with the ball than without it.

Agree2 2Disagree

15 Nov 2018 19:21:51
Something Red, but he's a lot better than the defenders they currently have and also possibly available due to how little game time he gets currently. I can see why they'd be interested. If he started his career there the same way he started his Liverpool career, he'd be a revelation for their defence.

I remembered when he first played, a lot of people on here were praising him like crazy.

15 Nov 2018 20:23:33
Could happen if the stories about the kid tobido are true maybe?

16 Nov 2018 00:13:51
Sessegnon hasn’t looked ready this season, he’s best to stay at Fulham where he gets premier league game time.

Agree7 0Disagree

18 Nov 2018 01:58:51
I'd happily play Nat Phillips as fourth choice over Matip.

Matip doesn't look confident at all and is too slow for PL and the high line style we play. He's also on something like £70k/ week if I remember well. Not a bad option to sell. I actually used to like Klavan better. Just my opinion.

Barcelona have informed Liverpool that a deal can be made with Dembele but not a loan at this moment, Barcelona will demand €94m, Talks continue.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed025's Note - slippery slope if they build on there though hailstones, what next allerton golf course?, there is not much green belt land left in the city mate..

17 Nov 2018 00:17:00
I meant the lake was a bit of a bog mate due too little rubbishs pissing throwing crap in there, the park is boss nice taking my kids million miles away from my school days haha.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed025's Note - its always been nice mate and when i was young it was more for the well to do than the riff raff like me, it was botanic park for me with a jam butty and a bottle of water with sherbet in it and i was told to stay there all day...and that was a treat!...where the bloody hell was esther rantzen when i was a nipper?.. :)

17 Nov 2018 08:41:13
I grew up in childwall ed so calderstones was our play ground it's a boss park but money speaks louder than anything and the money hawks seem too have got there way, I used too play footy on botanic park on a Sunday morning for ash Celtic those were the days a distant memory now haha.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed025's Note - i did a bit of refereeing in the edge hill junior soccer league hailstones and remember ash celtic well, i played for action many moons ago so our paths have probably crossed mate..

Good evening ed001.

Hope your well mate. Do you expect much to happen in Jan mate in and out if the club?

Believable1 0Unbelievable

{Ed001's Note - not really mate, probably one of the strikers, Origi, Solanke or Sturridge out, Clyne if possible, other than that probably nothing much happening with us.}

14 Nov 2018 21:20:06
There's always the Dembele rumours if you believe them.

14 Nov 2018 21:29:10

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed001's Note - depends on what is on offer.}

14 Nov 2018 20:51:31
Cheers ed. Appreciate the reply mate. Clyne needs to move as its clear Klopp don't rate him. Nothing on the arrivals then mate? can't think we need anyone tbh.

13 Nov 2018 14:39:13
Just heard from my friend who is in the army based in paderborn near dortmund that liverpool have had scouts looking at thorgan hazard and will be making a move for him in the summer. No incomings in january as far as im aware.

Believable1 10Unbelievable

13 Nov 2018 16:39:08
Hazard plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach? Which isn't to say your information is bad. But that's like me saying, just heard from a friend that lives in Middlesborough that Liverpool had scouts looking at Rashford and will be making a move in the summer.

Liverpool could be interested in signing Bournemouth's David Brooks in the Summer? Just some info I got given today.

Believable3 9Unbelievable

12 Nov 2018 23:35:52
This would make no sense to me but thanks for the info mate.

Agree6 2Disagree

13 Nov 2018 16:14:31
It would make sense to me in the fact that Brooks is young, versatile and technically very able. A replacement this Summer for Lallana/ Milner. He's having a good season so far with Bournemouth. That's part of what the lad who has some knowledge of our dealings told me. We've also been tracking him since his Sheffield United days but other priorities last Summer (GK and Midfield) so we passed up our interest, thus he went to Bournemouth.

Evening Eds,

Sturridge charged by FA for breaching betting rules. Any idea what's going on and what the most likely outcome could be? If I remember rightly isn't this what Barton got a huge ban for?

Keep up the good work!

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed025's Note - the charge is about passing on information Rs..not betting, i expect him to appeal mate..

12 Nov 2018 20:17:33
I see, thanks for clearing that up and the quick reply!

Agree1 0Disagree

{Ed025's Note - no problem mate..

13 Nov 2018 08:04:09
is it about his load move last season, and is this not similar to the John Terry thing for his last game where he let it know he would be going off in the 23 minute?

Agree0 0Disagree

13 Nov 2018 14:11:22
According to James Pearce in the Echo, it is connected to his loan move to West Brom in January. In my view, if bookies are stupid enough to offer odds on which team a player is going to sign for, whether permanently or on loan, they deserve to be ripped off by any punter with or without inside information.

Haven’t the FA got more important matters to investigate like the totally incompetent, possibly corrupt, bunch of PL referees? A slap on the wrist for Studge at worst.

Agree5 0Disagree

14 Nov 2018 06:54:02
That slap could have him out for the season Wirral, so need to be careful there.

10 Nov 2018 15:36:47
Nice want to sign Simon Mignolet in January. Any truth to this? And if it happens, are there any ideas about what we'd do in regards to a no. 2?

Believable4 0Unbelievable

11 Nov 2018 16:26:47
Great question, who's even available as a number 2? Reina moved to Milan in the summer, but he might have been a shout.

Anyone know how Grabara is progressing?

Agree0 0Disagree

11 Nov 2018 17:03:30
It would be a Nice deal for Migs.

Agree11 0Disagree

11 Nov 2018 20:06:48
Surely Tom Heaton should be worth a shout. It depends if he's searching for first team football though. Surely you'd be more proud being backup for Alisson, than backup to Joe Hart, haha.

Agree6 2Disagree

12 Nov 2018 05:44:09
I like Heaton but I don't think he'd suit our style. A fantastic shotstopper a couple of seasons ago, but can he come in for when Alisson's out and play a high line and sweep up?

Agree3 1Disagree

12 Nov 2018 13:46:54
I don't agree with signing a new number 2 in January, nor handing the No. 2 slot to one of two 19 year olds (Kelleher and Grabara) . Best option is to stay with Mignolet until the summer, and find a serious No. 2. He may want out now, the coaching staff may want him out, and a lot of of the fans want him out also, but the potential downside is huge if Alisson is unable to play due to injury or illness.

Agree1 2Disagree

12 Nov 2018 17:06:38
Buffon! Butland! Navas!

Agree0 3Disagree

12 Nov 2018 23:42:23
Nice legs shame about the face.

Agree0 0Disagree

12 Nov 2018 23:43:28
Ra is correct, people don't take number 2's as serious as they should until we're in sh*t street then suddenly it matters. God forbid Alisson got injured then we have to pile all the pressure on one of the youngsters who clearly aren't ready? nah that's not good for them nor is it good for the club. I agree, keep Migs until summer and then look at getting somebody who is capable to come in when needed.

If Kelleher and Grabara make it with us which let's be honest, it's a big if then we're looking at a few years down the line imo (they have plenty of time to impress) . Alisson is here long term, what chance do they have really?

Agree2 0Disagree

13 Nov 2018 21:35:39
We have our man James Milner to put in a shift in goal if need be!
